VISITS AND SITTING
PUPPY VISITS
Today everyone has a very busy schedule. Having a new puppy can somewhat be stressful due to the extra amount of care they need. We can help relieve this stress by making sure that your puppy is being taken care of when you are at work. Puppies have a less time endurance for their little personal needs. They can also be crated, but only for a short time period since they need to eat more frequently. Let us design a personalized private visit to ensure its health and safety. There is nothing more important in your new puppy's life than being introduced to people, city noises, other dogs, cars etc. as soon as it arrives into your home. Having a well socialized puppy early in its first months of being in your home will create a well balance personality, comfortable while encountering all kinds of things. We specialize in this kind of care, including puppy training while being taking out around town. This is a private service that can be moulded specifically for your puppy after sitting down and chatting with you.
DOG VISITS
Each individual visit will be discussed before hand with the client and will also depend on Whiskers and Paws scheduling etc. All visits will include individual attention to your pet. It will also include the replenishing of fresh water and food in the dish bowls. Bringing in the mail can be added if the client specifies and watering of plants. Dog can be let out in the yard for a few minutes and be taken for a walk. An additional fee is added for the scooping in the back yards. All visit costs will be determined accordingly. Extra fees may apply if location is further out, if an animal needs medications administered, (i.e. insulin injections etc.) Gst will also be added to the fee. Everything is done in writing through email when booking visits while you are away. This will insure that the dates are correct. Whiskers and Paws will send you an invoice before your departure for the time period that the care will be needed. It is your duty to verify that the dates are correct on the invoice and leave a cheque of transfer funds before your departure.
CAT VISITS
We know cats prefer to stay at home. Each individual visits will be discussed before hand with the client and will also depend on the Whiskers and Paws' scheduling. It will will include paying individual attention to your pet. It will also include the replenishing of fresh water and food in the dish bowls. Bringing in the client's mail, watering plants and ensuring that your home is safe and sound. All visit costs will be determined accordingly. BIRD, OTHER PETS AND CRITTER VISITS
We will provide visits for most other pets and critters and an additional fee for the cleaning of cages.
PET STAY AT HOME WHILE YOU ARE ON VACATION
If you decide to keep your pet(s) at home while vacationing, it is extremely important that they are well tended to, 3 visits a day is the mimum requirement as per relations where a dog is involved. It is more important that we discussed and implement a service that will be best suited for both your needs. These visits would include letting pets out in backyard, watering of plants, collections of mail etc. An additional fee is added for walking a dog, administering medication, and cleaning up after the dog in the back yard. We highly recommend that dogs stay with us, as they need more interaction than a cat.
